He drew and I drew him drawing!
Over at Somewhere to Sketch we are drawing in Israel via Google Maps Street View.
I was drawing many recent pictures using my new Lamy Logo fountain pen.
Someone asked to see the pen, so I drew it!
This tourist is enjoying the sights at Caesarea! I remember being there too.
In my Street Viewing trek I stumbled across this sculpture that was most impressive. Seems almost out of place with its Mexican or Aztec style.
This next one is copied from the ancient synagogue floor housed on the kibbutz where I lived for five years called Kibbutz Heftzi bah. If you are curious and want to know more of my personal history there (1961-1966) you can read about it over at Somewhere to Sketch as I wind it around all my Israeli drawings to date.

I hope you enjoyed your trip to Israel with me. We aren't done yet. We'll be drawing there until the 15th of this month, and then we move on to Tuscany. Everyone is invited to become a participating artist on that blog. Just drop an email or a comment over at Somewhere to Sketch and you will be given access to posting there. We are excited about all the artists who have joined Ann Hyde and myself since we launched Somewhere To Sketch! It's a blog full of inspired and inspiring artists and awesome art! Plus we have fun bantering back and forth to each other in the comments section. It's a very cohesive, friendly group!
Happy Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketching too!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your much appreciated comments.
Oh, one other new thing in my life: I've had a testimonial published over at
Forks Over Knives, where I talk about the life changes that have occurred since starting a plant based diet (Vegan, with an occasional piece of fish) in the end of April 2013. Pop over there via the link here by clicking on the words Forks Over Knives. You will see me there. I invite you to watch the film they have if you are interested in what got me hooked on this new life style!
