Sometimes I cannot believe she is gone. But then I remember how difficult it was for her, like your aunt, a vital active woman so used to working hard, and then so weak, everything had to be done for her. When I remember that, I am happy she is free. And in Heaven, with the one who loves her best. While I was in the hospital, I would take pictures of her, and then turn them into watercolors using waterlogue. I did not want the reality of the pictures. It's good you were able to paint her and your uncle. I should have done that, but it was quite emotionally draining in the hospital. As usual, I so enjoy your paintings and stories. How wonderful that you were able to join Jane's workshop!
