Girlfriends Sketchbook Page for Katie Jane; ATCs from Friends
Katie Jane's Girlfriend's Sketchbook has an "I Believe" theme so I continued this on my addition to her book.
The first photo is the front of my double page; I used handmade papers which I tore and torn page from an old music book (recent garage sale find). The photo is one I took in my own garden of a Mexican Primrose with water drops on it. I embellished these with Elmer's "Squeeze Creations" (a sparkly glue) for added spirals and swirls.
Click to enlarge and see details. The white paper had terrific frayed edges!
The back of the page has the lyrics to the song "I Believe" by Tom Jones, more torn papers, a different photo of same flower and more swirls and spirals. And my added words to Katie Jane.
My Mexican Primrose is also my Blooming Tuesday contribution! HBT all.
This adorable Tea Pot ATC came from Cris in Oregon. Actually she gave it to me in person when we were together on July 4th in her lovely home. Thanks Cris.
This orange/red Gerber Daisy is from Lisa I got in trade. Her art is awesome too. Thanks Lisa.
And this wonderful "E" for Elephants came from Gina for our ABC ATCs Around The World Blog swap. Thank you Gina for the fun parade of elephants!
The pages you made are so wonderfully creative and beautiful. Really great job Lynn!
