quickly, beautifully, and sometimes so quietly you could hear a drop of paint
falling on the rug
bless this house and how it looks with so much less in it
kiss my husband who said yes to so many changes and put forth so much
effort to help make it happen
bless old friend & contractor Mike who did such good jobs too and came by
to see the painters work completed and hauled off a truck load of unwanted wood from
our garage and will come back for more
thanks to neighbor Dave for all he did in adding to this new look; and computer help
last night to a frantic me who feared I'd kill my computer access
but with his help did not, making it possible to while away the day out side and still online connected, and for coming by to see the new shine
and adding his affirmations
Bless friend Patty who called and said she'd take me to Wal-Mart to get
the right cleaning tools and products to keep it all looking nice
and for encouraging me to spend my money now
because I can't take it with me when I die
thanks to friend Cris who e-writes me and listens to every move and sneeze
throughout the day and helps me keep on track
in all ways
^^^^^^^^
an added blessing came today when for the first time since hanging my art
in the town square library i went to visit it
and the librarian at the front desk remembered me
& told me many people commented on my art
and she even xeroxed my bio info
for some one who asked!
well I just have to say
that felt darn good to hear!
;-)
So many things for you to feel happy about Lynn. Your cup is running over! I hope you continue to get a good response to your art. You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteYou are mightly blessed. I can't wait to see the after photos.
ReplyDeletelovely!
ReplyDeleteOne thing about you Lynn is you think positive and things usually go as you think. I have enjoyed the whole process with you. You have inspired me to get things sorted & tossed. You are half way there in this project and its moving right along as it should, and I am tickled to be of help in any small way.
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that about someone wanting your bio printed out. Maybe they should have some printed for taking. ???
always so refreshing to declutter, it works for the brain too, so happy you are so happy.
ReplyDeleteLynn, do you think there is a direct link in the brain between clearing up clutter and gratitude?--Whether there is or not, you've found a sure fire method for happiness. I got up early this morning, got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the kitchen floor. I felt like a goddess afterwards as I walked on the glowing floor. Every where I walked felt sacred. thanks for the reminder!!
ReplyDeleteLynn, what a beautiful post and a great reminder to not only appreciate all the good things in our lives, but to actively send out thanks for each and every one of them. I'm thankful for you and your inspiration in my life. Even though we've never met, I consider you a wonderful friend and peer. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWow, change is in the air. You are so blessed.
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds so good (except for your cold of course....)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see pics!!!!!
