It's been a tumultuous few weeks of Primary elections, personalities, people, in my humble opinion, with great integrity and some without ... I was not shy about putting my energy, $$$, and vote behind Senator Bernie Sanders, because I appreciate his integrity, ideas and platforms! When my vote in California was not enough to get Bernie into position to run for President I was disappointed, and I'll admit, depressed, letdown, sad, discouraged and angry! I need some days to heal from my disappointment!
I'll continue to be a Bernie supporter until he says he's no longer in the running!
Then I will back the person/people who will come as close as possible to bring about Bernie's platform; and I will fight to make sure Donald Trump will not be President of these United States! From that we would not heal!
Thanks for stopping by!
I appreciate your visits and comments, as they keep me drawing!
Friday, June 10 new klasses begin, some repeats, in Sketchbook Skool, I think today is the last day to register! I'll be a TA in Koosje's Klass in Beginnings! Join me there for the ride of your life.
Stunning characters and sketches. You've had a busy week, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF xx
Thank you!
DeleteGreat characters! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteI;m with you on the Bernie and trump front. What a scary time we live in here in the US. But I love your people sketches-I always look forward to checking them out on Fridays. I really should stop by more I guess. Have a great weekend! :) Erika
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika!
DeleteI understand your feelings on this election. It is scary times right now. I find myself spending a lot of time reading about it, thinking about it and talking about it. I agree with you on Trump It can't be him.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at your sketches and particularly enjoyed the dialog in the the coffee shop this week. I am sure there will many interesting conversations that you will either hear or imagine as this campaign season continues.
Have a great art filled week.
Thanks Ginny! Stay positive!
DeleteAdorable characters with so much personality. I really am impressed that you can capture so much.
ReplyDeleteWe're all watching with bated breath over here watching the drama unfold of your forthcoming election. We've got a little drama over here too with our IN/OUT EU Referendum. It's like a bun fight!
I can't wait for it to all be over.
Happy PPF and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks Nessie!
DeleteOnce again I have loved seeing your world!!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketches, especially the girl with green hair. My granddaughter has a nose ring, not exactly like that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kste! That ring was quite ornate!
DeleteYour drawings, as usual, are fantastic! Have you ever thought about being a courtroom artist? You would be fantastic at it! As for elections, I too agree on Bernie! I did vote in the primary out here in California but it seems the Democrats and Republicans have had their choices for us announced way too soon. Such a shame. I have tried to convince our votes count, but really with the Super delegates and the delegates making their choices way before the "people" were allowed to vote in the Primary, it has got me wondering. Thank you for adding the election issue to your post! I loved it! Happy PPF and have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Rasz
ReplyDeleteNo, never thought I was good enough for that kind of work! Maybe some day! 😊 But thanks for thinking so!
DeleteI never cease to be amazed at your ability to draw people "on the spot". I have tried it on occasion, but they jeve qutie look like people... more like trolls! haha. I'll have to check out the sktchy app...I really like the red-headed dude. His background is amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI pulled out an art journal I filled two years ago when sketchbook Skool just started and my people were quite rough compared to the ones I draw today! I imagine two years from now I'll be a bit better still! I suggest embracing your trolls and keep drawing people! Some of them are trolls!
Deletehope you have fun being a TA
ReplyDeleteThanks Suki I am! It's fun encouraging others to draw regularly!
