Jane made these yo-yos from silk tie fabrics and beaded them beautifully in their centers.
Which inspired me to try making my very first yo-yos ever and put them on my latest art quilt that cannot be fully revealed until the end of this month!
But I feel that they add a bit of bright sparkle that really adds to my previous work.
Today begins my weekend.I am devastated to wake to the news of this horrible tragic earthquake in Japan. I pray for the people there.
In contrast my personal ordeal of having to gather income tax information pales in comparison.
I also hope to have time to be creative at home.
Something like this makes me feel so grateful for what I have and take so forgranted,
but reminds me that nothing is to be taken forgranted, as this could happen here in California
at any time.
