But this one catches my eye! So I took a photo of it the other day and yesterday I decided to paint it. Pretty, huh?
If you want to see more of my people drawings scroll down to the earlier part of the week.
Happy Paint Party Friday!

And now the flower show!
First from my garden: Purple Sage, can you see the green bug?
My Mexican Primroses are abundant!
My Hydragia is blooming too...
These beauties are in my brother's newly planted front yard!
And these my son in law planted in his front yard
and these...
and these....
This last one, a beared Iris is mine by my front door, but a new bloom on same plant I showed you earlier in the week. I think there are four buds total on this one plant from the Iris Farm.
I hope your Friday is sunny and bright!

You really captured that RED truck. I can almost see my reflection in it.:)) You have great color sense. Love all the flowers. My Foxgloves are blooming wonderfully this year too. Your Camera does a great job close up.
ReplyDeleteI love the red truck and I especially love the rocks ... they look really loose and great , but the photos are just stunning... hydrangea is my favourite flower and my parents used to have huge bushes covered in deep purple blooms... it almost broke my heart when they moved... yours look stunning... more photos as it blooms please!!!

Awesome red truck! Beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you handled the stones in the foreground! The truck is great!
ReplyDeletegosh, you too, as Cris, have LOTS of comments all of a sudden. love the red pickup. and your flowers are just goregeous. Here--a few dandelions, and a dearth of lilacs, I guess becasue of the odd weather. The old tree that usually has hundreds of blossoms this year only has about ten. am enjoying the west coast plethora of color and form.
ReplyDeleteThere was a certain red truck,
ReplyDeletein the mud it firmly got stuck
It was free in an hour
through Lynn's flower power
and a good big dollop of luck
I'm in love with your red truck. Wow. Very nice painting! :) Happy PPF
ReplyDeleteLove your truck painting. My dad had a truck like that but with a flat bed on the back. Your painting brings back so many fabulous childhood memories. Your flowers are lovely! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright red truck, and your floral photos are amazing. Wow!
ReplyDeleteCars have such great character. I'm not a car enthusiast, but I love them as characters and reflections of the person who drives them. It seems to say something about who they are...whether it is correct or not, considering money plays a major part in car selection, is another matter, but I do love cars as characters.
ReplyDeleteAnd this red truck is dripping character all over the pavement. Lovely painting and a beautiful red. He almost wants to speak :D
And beautiful flowers! I have an Australian native garden so we don't have many exotics around the place, and an elegant foxglove is a rare sight. Beautiful!
Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes,
Liz
Very nice! He might like a print of that! Well done...I love it!
