More Travels With Lynn from her Art Travel Journal

We visited Gurnsey to see Register Cliff where the pioneers passed on the Oregon Trail and left their signatures in the wall. I drew the wall across two pages of my art journal...

The men eating lunch were patrons were we decided to grab a hamburger between historic site hopping. It wasn't Taco Jalisco's, but the burgers were especially good at a place called Sue's Burgers and More. And the drawing was good too! One guy had an artful arm of tatoo's!

The Wagon Trail Ruts were interesting to see. My DH is the historian who is in seventh heaven at all these sites. This one particularly seemed to move him to ecstasy.

We finally arrived in Denver, CO in the evening in time for dinner at my cousin's home. I drew Mike, her husband first out on the patio where he had salmon on the barbecue going for our dinner.
And later I drew Barb using her ipad. She's been helpful with showing me some things to do on it, but she doesn't blog so she's no help with ipad to blog questions.

Barb also likes to play my favorite card game Spite and Malice and we had fun late into the night doing that!

Stay tuned...I hope I get to upload more photos from my ipad eventually. But for now I am using their computer and blogging ahead.

I am linking this with Sunday Sketchers and you can go there from the icon on my sidebar. Happy Sketching!

  1. Wonderful drawings. Fun to stop and visit relatives on the way. Thought at first you did this blog from your iPad. Does everyone in your family have one of those things? Look forward to the rest of your drawings.
