My Week of Eats and Peeps!

Believe it or not I actually left home one day WITHOUT my art journal! What to do?
I took a manila envelope from my office to lunch and drew on it instead!
Where there is a will there's a way.
If you look carefully you'll find "The Couple" and one of the "Floor Guys" in this picture:

Next day you can be sure I had my art journal with me, and I happily got busy drawing these guys at Tacos Jalisco:

And these people too. The place was jammed packed and I had a table to four to myself. While drawing I noticed four women come in and look around at no where to sit. There was a table for two by the wall, so I asked Carlos to help me move my food over there so the women could have my table. They were ever so grateful. Small thing to do ...

From my new vantage point I drew these people feet tapping, perhaps to the loud music or maybe they were nervous, I have no idea, but tap they did and rapidly the whole time I was drawing these feet!

I'm going to link this to Paint Party Party, as I do each week, however, know that I am personally very involved with family visiting including my adorable nineteen month old grand daughter, Allie Bel!

I will get to others blogs on Sunday, as many as I am able. My humble apologies if I miss a few this week. But I am sure you will understand!

Ms Allie Bel
ASL signing "Mouse"!

Happy  Weekend, Passover and Easter!

  12. I love your sketches and admire how you make time to be artistic every day. I really need to get a journal and just be freer with my artwork. I'm so uptight when I draw and paint.

  14. Allie Bel is adorable. Enjoy the time with her. I liked how you "made do" with the manila envelope. Having no journal with you didn't deter you at all. And the other pages are great. I always love to see your visits to the restaurant.
