Many of you know that I pack several small art journals in my back pack where ever I go. And that I've been drawing at Tacos Jalisco, the little family run Mexican Restaurant up the street from my office for going on three years now. Above is "The Couple" well the guy from The Couple and the story includes his wife as well.
Below was the next week. Not sure if you can tell that the woman with the bun on her head is talking to the guy with the long neck and there are two other guys at the table in front of them. It gets very crowded there and people tend to over lap.
On April 4th I start Sketchbook Skool with Danny Gregory. He has five other teachers teaching successive weeks in this the first semester of classes. Here I've drawn him and one of the other teachers from India from a video they did about the class. These are not very good likenesses of these fine fellows. I hope I've not insulted them.
On St. Patricks Day my husband and I met up in the evening for an outdoor music fest where we listened to this US Air Force band sing and play Irish music in the town square. The guys and gals all wore kilts. It was chilly out. I hoped they were warm enough.
At my other blog, Paper, Paint, Pencils & Pens, we are still drawing to the theme of "Gardens & Parks." I asked my friend, Cris permission to draw one of the chickens in her garden she'd sent me a photo of. I guess you can tell it's a chicken.
And along the same theme I drew this yesterday in my own backyard!
I'll link up to Sunday Sketchers today.
They are still taking enrollment for Sketchbook Skool if you are interested in that;
and We have an open door at Paper, Paint, Pencils & Pens if you want to join us drawing there. Leave a message with your email address in the comment box here or there and I'll send you an invite so you can post there.
Have a creative week and thanks for stopping by and for your comments that I appreciate so very much.
