My Week in Sktchy Portraits

My second portrait of new friend from SBS, Maria. I think I got the proportions of her face better in this one, but not her beauty. I'll keep trying.
Or maybe I should stick with my earlier self challenge to just draw and not worry whether or not it actually looks like the person I am drawing from a photo.

The rest of the portraits are done from Sktchy App photos. I am really, really enjoying using Copic markers for skin tones.

And the new colors I bought are great for hair and eyes too!

I try to choose photos that have a lot of personality. I love this bright eyed gal with her scrunched expression and this cherry cheeked gentleman.

And this guy just looked so cheerful and kind.

Tonight I drew this fellow! I appreciate when they give me different twists and turns to wrap my pen around.

Thanks for stopping by. I know this is a quick post this week, and not for lack of more art to post, but just didn't take the time to load it all. More next week; Promise!

Wishing you all a Creative week, and thanks for your comments as they keep me drawing!
