My New Year Starts Early

Tuesday this week at Tacos Jalisco

My Second Year of drawing  in public began in November 2012. That follows one year, and eight (8) art journals full done from November 2011 to November 2012. Okay, I probably drew some before November of 2011. But it was then that I challenged myself to draw in a public place all year long between 3-5 days a week. I haven't yet figured out how many drawings/paintings that adds up to yet, but I'll do that calculation soon. I'm curious.

This year I will number my drawings as I go, and be sure I have a date on each one. Since I do not recall the exact date I started this public drawing self-challenge I am arbitrarily calling my piece done at Jalisco's on November 28 of "The Floor Guys",  as Drawing #1 for Year 2. I already have four painted drawings from then until yesterday, four days, two done on the same day-Wednesday to Wednesday. It's a slow week for me because I have been struggling to get my BOOK edited. There are seventy eight (78) drawing/paintings in my book: "One Fish Taco and Half an Order of Guacamole A Year of Drawing Over Lunch at Tacos Jalisco".

Eleven (11) are in black and white and
(67) are in COLOR!

Wednesday this week at Pure Grain Bakery

I want to thank everyone who has shown an interest in my book
in your comments to me; believe me I appreciate that
and it is the continual push I need to keep me
working at finishing it no matter how many obstacles I run up
against.

Here are drawings numbers 3 and 4, which I share with Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketchers.

(I will be busy editing with Carlos on Friday and playing with my eight year old twin grand children on Saturday and Sunday! They are coming for a sleep over, Chanukah (two nights) and the Menorah Lighting in our Town Square on Sunday!

 Color ME Happy Grandma Lynn!

One fun thing that happened the night Carlos came to help edit my book, was he kept saying "I know who that is!" while looking at my drawings I did in his restaurant!
