My Life Last Week! Saying Goodbye to July and my doctor!

Since my husband retired in June we have needed to prepare for new health insurance, as we'll no longer have the company he got through his place of employment. Instead we'll be moving on to a new company. So in preparation and before we lost the old coverage I made an appointment for some blood work and a last visit to the doctor I have been seeing for over ten years. I will miss her. She is not a part of the new plan. I drew the people in the waiting room while I waited my turn. I am happy to report that all my lab work came out just fine. Good levels all. She did tell me that the thing (cyst) she removed from the middle of my back in 2010 has returned and I need to take care of that "get it out of there" she said, when I transfer to the new doctor, as there was not time to do it with her unfortunately. So it's on the top of my "to do" list.

After the blood draw I had a coffee and bagel with cream cheese  at the Pure Grain Bakery to renew my energy after fasting for the tests. These were folks I saw there to draw. The little girl was so cute in her denim over-all shorts. And her dad had quite the message on the back of his shirt!

Obviously these are out of order. This was done at Taco Jalisco's the day before at lunch time. And no one is sitting with who they came in with. I hope I don't  get anyone in trouble. The gal at the counter was with a gal friend, and the guy was with another bearded guy. But she and her friend left after I drew her, so I just put the guy in next to her when he sat in her friends vacant seat.

Also the police woman was at the furthest table away from me and the woman across from her was directly in front of me. Only senor J is where he normally is back in the kitchen preparing food.
They have new table cloths on the tables that are very colorful and printed in a fruit design.

It's been a great month this July for drawing and painting!
I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.
;-)
