I used Faber-Castell PITT pen and Derwent Inktense Colored Pencils that are water-soluble.
Color in pencil, add water with a paint brush and magic happens!
We are between semesters at Sketchbook Skool. We completed the first six weeks with six great inspiring teachers. The next semester starts July 4. In the meantime, the students desirous of continual daily drawing are meeting up in a closed Facebook Group and some of us are drawing each other.

Again I used PITT Pen but this time I broke out my water soluble Prismacolor colored pencils.
I have way too many art supplies now. I am sure I have more than I will need for the rest of my life.
Teachers and students alike suggest tools and I feel I must have them all. Silly me.

Another new art supply I had to have was a set of Doc Martin PH watercolors. They come in liquid form in small 15 oz. bottles with rubber tip droppers for tops. You drop a couple of drops of paint into a couple of drops of water and wha la you have vivid color to splash on a page! You can see my first experience with them here. Me experimenting!

Still one more product I had to have, a set of twelve Schmincke half pans of watercolor paints.
Lovely colors. The back ground on this picture was done with left over Doc Martins from the previous drawing. The rest is Schmincke watercolors. And Faber-Castell PITT pen S.
These are all done from photos supplied by the students and staff. Very different from my drawing from life. Both have their merits I think. I'm getting better and finding some bit of actual resemblance to actual people in these. Some with exaggerated chins, etc. But fun none the less.
