My World in My Purse

Suki challenged us to post our purses and what we schlep (my word) around in them. Here's mine. I did buy it at a garage sale for fifty cents. I think it may be from Guatemala or Mexico. I get compliments on it ALL the time!

  1. thanks for posting the photos of your purse. I love it. This is a fabulous purse and I'm jealous. fifty cents. Wow. I can hardly believe all the stuff you carry in it though. I'd think it'd be too heavy but how wonderful to fit in your camera and sketchpad and so forth.

PS did you see Mary Richmond's comment on my blog re: your posting photos of your grandkids. She issued a warning note abt doing so. It's under my post about having offended someone.

  4. Suki: It is too heavy and I don't usually have ALL that stuff in it at once. I have gone back and forth between just carrying the small flat passport like carrier there and this big thing. But it is great when I NEED a book, a magazine, my sketch pad/pencils (now) and camera.

Yes, I went to see the warning and I rushed home today and deleted all the kids photos. Thanks for the heads up. Stupid me, I know better, but glad you all got to "meet them" for a minute. ;-)

Cris: I did not photograph the scraps of paper, the receipts, etc. that were also in it. (Not really CLEAN) LOL

  6. For my job search I just changed over from a big, bright purse like yours in which I carried everything from camera and notepad to water bottle and book...to my new slim black leather bag in which I can only fit wallet, pen and keys.
