Judy, the director at the art gallery, asked me to create some cards with my photos on them to sell at the gallery's gift shop. What do you think? Are the one's I've posted of late and in the past worthy-of-sale items? If that flies I may get on the ETSY bandwagon.

  1. You could do a floral series - and give the series a collective name like 'Flower Power' or 'Flower Prints'or something. I think some from the last set of flower photos (e.g. Lily and roses) you posted are good for cards. This one today is interesting as well - maybe just brighten it a bit in Photoshop or whatever editing program you may use.

  2. Absolutely. Your photos are gorgeous. I say flowers, birds (those owls) and doorways in your town if you can do that without permission I don't know. Exciting.Actually I've made cards for years though never photo cards. Some have been amazing collage cards if I do say so myself. It's fun.

  3. The cards look wonderful - go for it.
I saw the quilt on the Holocaust - how apt to view it for today is Yom Hashoah.
It was amazing, thoughtful and really a true masterpiece of remembrance. Thanks for letting me know.
    Ciao for now

  5. Saw yr question on Andrea's blog re: copyright sign. do you know Marianne the mandala maker? She explained to me once how to do that, although I think you do need some program. Maybe she'd explain to you. http://mandarianne.blogspot.com

  8. Lynn, your photos are exceptional. Absolutely, you could sell them as cards. I would buy them. Especially the lily below ... and, thank you for your post above -- reminding us of an ugly time in humanity's history, hopefully so we can learn from it to create beauty. I work with refugees here in Canada ... many who have had to live through horrors that should not have been repeated. In our centre, our therapists remind the families we work with about the wise words of Viktor Frankl ... "The salvation of man is through love and in love."
