AEDM A Red Cardinal and a Quilt Giveaway

Mim told me about this Quilt Giveaway at Old Red Barn blog: http://www.oldredbarnco.blogspot.com/ Dana is giving away three very lovely quilts, this one struck my eye as I love MODA fabrics...and these bright colors speak to me too. She offers many ways to gain points for her random draw on Monday. You can put her quilt photo on your side bar for five points, make a video for 50 more...Anyway her blog looks interesting and I love a contest! So join in and lets see who wins what! If I by chance win the pink one I'll send it to Mim. I already told her I would.
This summer when we were in MN visiting my DH's sister and mom, his sister asked me if I'd make an art quilt for her new den. (Ma's former bedroom). My Dear Mother in law loves birds, especially the red cardinals that she fed each day when she lived in her daughter's home. So I started with a cardinal. Today I top stitched it and the tree branch. We shall see where I go from here.
We will visit them over the Christmas holiday...so I need to get this done before we go. Think I can do it? ;-)
