ATCs:Mine and Friends; 3D Art On The Couch; Watercolors

This first ATC came from Linda. It is the "D for Dangerously Delightful Diva" card from our ABC ATC Blog group. Linda was sweet to send some special ephemera too which you can see here as well. I will have fun creating it with it. Thanks Linda!!! Your art is very special! Love the gold, the paint, the sparkles!!! This wonderfully worldly cat came to me from Marianne. She calls it "Earth Cat!" And Marianne also sent this beautiful blooming cacti! Her watercolors are always so brilliant and shine like the sun. Thanks again, Marianne. This is a watercolor by me! It's a plaid daisy ATC that is available for trade in my ATC blog reachable on my sidebar. I'm sure the recent murder at the Jewish Holocaust Museum in DC inspired me to create this Jewish Star of David with my watercolors. Also available in my ATC blog. These next two fabric ATCs are the result of much felting and top sewing of ribbons, felt pieces, and threads on cotton batting. I call them "Frenzied Art" also available on my ATC Blog. And finally, a 3D piece I created sitting on the couch watching TV, well, listening to the TV in the background while painting paper, tearing paper, gluing paper to make what you see! Not for trade! Just to look at! ;~) Tonight I go to the reception at the art gallery in Davis to see Mim's Sunflower art quilt hanging with all the other wonderful artzy sunflowers there. I'll post some photos tomorrow.

I'll bet your couch looked like my kitchen table after that session! I have a studio room, but sometimes it's nice to work from a different location.
