New Owl Shots from Last Saturday...

These are the burrowing owls that live on the outer edges of a big golf course in our town, across the street from all the car dealers on a very heavily trafficked street. We are ever so grateful that they are not afraid when we pull up and let us photograph them in this their "natural?" habitat. Enjoy on Animal Wednesday.

    I just LOVE these owls and had never heard of burrowing owls before. It's amazing to me that you can just take their picture like that. also, you have a squirrel shot...I have a squirrel and so does lolo. it must be "rodent wednesday".

    These are so sweet. We just watched HOOT last week about these owls that live in Florida too. Great shots.

    Those are great owl shots but I thought owls came out at night. They must have known they were going to be in a photo shoot.

    Oh Wow Lynn, how can you manage to get pictures that close!!!!!
    I recently found the pictures you have sent me, I don't know how but they ended up in my spam box!
    Lucky I checked before trowing everything away!
