ALL I WANT IS A LITTLE TIME TO CALL MY OWN

Hey, I spend all night roaming the neighborhood making it safe for you to sleep. Now it's my turn to get a few winks in.Would you believe that Henry took everything you see in front of the basket OUT OF THE BASKET so he could take a nap, resting his head on Dad's baseball cap!?
And IF I celebrated Christmas, LOL, I'd seriously consider using this for next years card.
(the basket was a gift with other things in it several years ago from a friend).Happy Animal Wednesday!

  1. Lovely...
Our kitten ( well not so kittenish now I suppose) has decided she's old enough to go out at night now...sadly, she came back with a huge scratch across her nose...looking very sorry for herself..don't think she'll be going out again for a while..Play nicely!!

  5. Ah isnt he sweet. My cat likes to paw a blanked down off the back of a certain chair and curl up in it. I keep it for my legs when sitting in Te sunroom..I get to use it now and then. LOL HAW

  7. Lynn, I love your blog and your post today. Bleubeard really enjoyed it, too. At least I THINK that's his reaction! I have no idea why I haven't been here before, or if I was, I sure have been missing a lot of great posts. I would like to add your blog to my blogroll, if you don't mind.

As for the fabric paper, what you do is take THIN muslin, a sheet, old cotton dress, etc., and glop on a bunch of Mod Podge or gel medium and lay your papers over it. To finish it off (except Melinda didn't do that), you can add fibers and threads, then cover with a sheet of tissue or dressmaker's paper. You could even sew on tulle after the paper has dried. I think it was a technique invented by Alisa Burke or Beryl Taylor.

  12. Yes, I certainly can believe he did that. Our Sifra always manages to crawl into our beds (meaning under the covers) instead of just lying on top of it.
