Remember that Estate Sale?

Remember that Estate Sale where I gleaned that humongous stash of embroidery floss and those quaint pillow cases printed to embroider? I had great fun making these for my friend Sam in Oregon. She'll get them today as a surprise!
Wanting to continue embroidering I added more art like this to the backs of both.
Are you getting ready for the 4th of July?
If you don't live in the USA
is there any other holiday where you are that
is special for the season?

  10. What fun! Your friend is a lucky duck. Resting up for my trip and a long work week ahead. I don't really like the 4th anyway, all the firecrackers bother my animal boys. xoxo

  12. So sweet to see you all here while I am away. Thanks for your fun comments too. To those of you who wonder I find embroidery and any kind of hand work relaxing. It doesn't take much energy to sit and stitch. I do it in the car as we travel. In fact, I finished one for Cris on our way to her house today!!!!
