Grateful Thursday Gifts Two Huge Surprises!

The first surprise this past week came from Terry Busse of Songs from the Garden Blog here. Terry will have a booth at The American Craft Council Show at Fort Mason Center San Francisco (Booth #524 to be exact) on Aug. 13, 14, and 15th 2010. If you get a chance to be in the area do check it out, I know we will.Terry very graciously sent us two free passes to the event! Thank you so much Terry! I wish you huge success of many sales at this wonderful show. I have attended it in years past and there are always incredible artists work to see. You belong there!!! The next gift arrived totally unexpected as well from Julie of A Succulent Life blog here. Julie wanted to gift me in congratulations for our "new home" (through renovations). Such a surprise! She sent me a lovely bracelet made from beads made of recycled papers by women in Africa. It comes out of a wonderful charity as shown in their brochure below.
Because I was pulled to give back I ordered a bag of over 100 hand made beads to add to my own art work.
Thank you Julie for your generous, kind, and thoughtful gift.
I wear it with pride!
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Our Nephew is still here and we are having so much fun with him.
I took the day off yesterday and we went to San Francisco.
I took about a million photos and we did so much and saw so much and enjoyed so much
AND
I beat him at Spite and Malice tonight too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yippee!!!
I'll post photos later as I am pooped to pop right now.
;-) So much to be grateful for
!

  6. Hi Lynn! I read about this initiative that Soulbrush started, and immediately thought of you. I have fallen off the ATC bandwagon, and just wanted to send you a little surprise! I'm glad you were able to order some beads for your own creations!!! Yeah.

    I am impressed with the bracelet...it is really pretty!!! I love the neautral/orange colors in it! I may have to order a few for family members also for Christmas/birthdays!

    You are such a doll, and I appreciate the ATC's you have sent me in the past and I look at them all the time and think..."WOW, she is so talented"! Thanks for being such a great blogger friend!
    xoxo- Julie

  10. I love the picture of you and Allen Freddie sitting on the downed tree, it looks like a picture of you both sitting on a tree when he was about 2 or 3 years old.
