On Sunday last I dropped off two pieces of art for the new show at Lawler House Art gallery that will run from Feb. 4 till May 1, 2011.
My self portrait: "I Am Descended From Women Who..."
and the string of hearts "Hearts...Don't Bully"...
I took home "Wired to Quilt" and "Stop Bullying Now". I was told that many, many people had stood and read all of "Stop Bullying Now". That was so good to hear.
I'll take you all to the show when I get a chance to get over there with my camera!
These will be a hit no doubt.
ReplyDeletewonderful venue to show your rich and varied art. congrats.
ReplyDeleteCongrats for getting in. look forward to seeing the opening when you go.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun art show! I love your sentiments both - it's great to have a history of artsy family and everyone needs to be reminded to stand up against bullying.
ReplyDeleteOh Lynn, I wished I lived closer so I could see your work on display! Thank for signing up for my giveaway, if you don't win I may just have to send you a print anyway. :) I'm so glad to have met you too!
ReplyDeleteMuch Love,
Jenny
