Kitchen Counter Poppies

I drew these in ink in my daily art journal a few mornings ago

and in the evening I painted them.
I'm happy with the outcome.
If you'd like a banana help yourself!

  2. Wonderful Poppies!!! The vivid colours always make me happy!!!! And,,(of course) I adore the rest of the colours.... the addition of the Bananas defines it as a "Lynn" piece..

    A joyful, strong piece!

The splash of yellow in the flower is a nice touch with the banana.

  6. hi lynn, just love this and adore your colors you've combined so well. they are wonderful! just keep getting better and better-it's true what they say "practice makes perfect" i think! you do mention it is in your "daily" journal. i need to make art on a daily basis and don't...feeling more inspired after seeing this. ;)

btw, thought you might want to know that your blog is taking a very long time to load. i think it's the slide shows-they didn't load at all on my connection. xxx
