Saturday

Warm sunny morning on Saturday we like to get up and set out to find treasures at yard sales in our surrounding neighborhood. Stop for coffee first...enjoying the hunt for nothing in particular, but always coming home with something useful and/or enjoyable...a brand new, in the box, silver heart bracelet will make a perfect gift for 18 yr old grand daughter when I go to visit the end of this month, $2; DH found an important to him tool and a book: 25 cents each; I got wire for hanging pictures at art shows for fifty cents; and brand new HP photo card stock for my printer for $1. Oh and some much needed blank CDs for a quarter. DH stuck his hand in his pocket that time so they were free to me! Tee hee.

We wound up the day with lunch at J's. Mama J. was happy to see me and to meet DH. Food was good as always and I got to add the man and his baby and DH to my morning drawing. A good day all told.

Now I think it's hammock time in the back yard. My book awaits.
Remember recently when I showed you three Mexican Primroses had returned to my garden. Look at them now! Wow!

And just how are you enjoying your weekend?

    1. Thanks Laurie...maybe when I first planted them years ago...but this winter my lawn guy cut back all the vines that back fence and all the flowers in front of it to what looked like nothing left. But all this has come back full force! He said it would.

Aren't flowers amazing. Just when you think they are ruined they pop back up even better.

    1. Thanks Jenny...Happy Mother's day to you too. I still can't tell the difference in photos of you and your daughter which is which, who is who? I strongly recommend the purchase of a hammock. It is THE most restful thing I do in life. When I was 19 yrs of age I spent three months in Mexico and I spent a few weeks sleeping in a hammock on the beach of Acapulco. It was divine. Now when I am in my Eddie Bauer hammock it is as if I can hear the waves coming in...I AM on vacation in my own backyard.
