Lynn, I wanted to tell you about a feature I saw on CBS Sunday Morning last Sunday. In case you missed it, Google 'CBS Sunday Morning' and click on 'Quilts for Sale' video. This man's quilts blew me away. You may have heard of him. His work reminds me of yours.
Thank you Katie for sending me to the video. I am a bit humbled by your comparison of my work to that of Timms. He is a true artist. I did like that he makes his own patterns or quilts without templates. That is what I want to do too.
Cris, yes, I looked at a photo of those flowers and drew them "by eye".

Lynn, you're very welcome and I think your work is very similar to Ricky Timms. Sorry for the double post yesterday. I wasn't sure if the first one went through. But anyway, I can't believe you've only done this such a short time. I think you have a natural talent for it and the fact that you love it shows in your work.
