Spring in California

All in a days work or play depending on how you look at it. Colors not as they are in real life exactly but the burst of color is here for you to see. This is stage one. Pieced together. There will be a binding I think in deep purple. And then top stitched yet to be determined. Embellishments? I think so, yes. Wait and see. It was fun and took most of the day.

  3. You have a wonderful way with colors and pattern. This is a happy quilt with lots of cheerful feelings within. Your photos of San Francisco stay firm in my mind and heart.

    Where I lived when there: 1146 Taylor at the almost top of nob hill.

    I see that yellow piece( below the yellow triangle) as a heart ... and this makes all the diffrence!

  7. these are ideal colours for spring, as we all feel uplifted when things bloom in the garden. isn't nature glorious? can't wait for the next part.
