Hint of Things to Come

For those of you whom might be checking in to see if I have moved on beyond Anniversary #23, and Post #300, I have, and I have been sewing...

Here is a hint of what is to come...made thus far from fat quarters purchased over
December holiday trip to MN and environs. It will be a wall hanging. It will be approximately 47" across and 23" down. So far the rails /strips/ have been sewn down "in the ditch".
Onward...Ho! (to top stitching, etc.)

  1. This piece looks like something which, if left lying in a horizontal position for too long, will catch Henry's eye as 'his' new bed.

  3. Very interesting. I saw something like this once, done with old ties from the 40's. This is going to be very interesting.

  6. Thanks all.

Mim, interestsing of you to say that about ties, as when I had this hanging on my design board with some sewn together and some just single strips still it looked like men's ties to me too. ;-)

Cris, this is "just a hint"...you are remembering things from email...shush...not telling more just yet. ;-)

  7. I like the long thin stips of cloth. The colors and patterns are cheerful, as often so with your quilts. Have fun on the weekend.

  10. FY: We WENT to (MN) Minnesota last December and while there I went to several quilt shops where I picked up the fabric that is in this quilt wall hanging. (Most of it, some I got locally)
