The hat is knit with red Lion Brand
Woolese yarn left over from a sweater I made her last year, and the rust from a sweater I knit her brother last year, and the green from his this year sweater (for the leaves). The flowers, leaves and trim are crocheted.
OH I LOVE THIS HAT. It is darling. I love the flower. She is a lucky little girl with a cool Grandma like you. She will be well dressed for cold this winter. :))
ReplyDeletethis has a 1920's 'flapper' feel about it...gorgeous, what are you going to make for gradndson to match?
ReplyDeleteThanks gals. Grand son already got his hat (#2). It was one I was making for myself to match that LONG scarf, but it turned out to be way to small for me but it fit him just fine. That is WHY I had to make another hat for her!!! Now they are even! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is dadorable. I am a hat lover myself. Well she will be so cute wearing this with her sweater and walking down the walk w/her bro. My grannie loves me is what it says.
ReplyDeleteSuki, you say the nicest things! Thanks!
