Abby Loves Her Art Quilt Gift
Abby received her art quilt this week, the tribute to Jim, her dad, who died in July. The one I made from all his Hawaiian shirts and photos. Needless to say, Abby was very moved by seeing the quilt and receiving my gift. These are the beautiful words she wrote to me in appreciation:
"Dearest Lynn,
Thank you SOOOOO much for my beautiful wall hanging that you made me! I love it so much. I can't tell you how much that means to me. That is one of the sweetest gifts I have ever been given and one that I will cherish always. I am so deeply touched that you put that together for me..."
And I cannot tell you how sweet it is to make something for someone and have it so very much appreciated. Abby is in the process of moving into her new apartment, and said she'd hang the quilt on her wall there. So it has a new home with Abby and I am a happy quilter. ;-)
Hugs to you Abby, Love, Lynn
