These beautiful red poppies were found in Locke, CA, an historical Chinese community, artist and musicians colony...more about that on Wednesdays' blog post.
Doesn't this look like a painting?
Also in Locke at a gallery for ironworks...
and this...
These were on the side of the road by one of the two ferry boats we took on Sunday
while traveling along the Delta.
A very very old church with it's own blooms...
And on Saturday closer to home:
Are these Azaleas?
This bush caught my eye and again car stopped, camera in hand
and I was eye ball to eyeball with these beautiful blooms...
Wouldn't this make a lovely card?
Happy Blooming Tuesday to every one.

bountiful blessings
raining on me...
no need to go in to pray
just breathe in
and smile
each breath is a prayer...
Scrumptious! I wish I was there to enjoy the sites and scents. The world is still brown in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteThat flowering plant is a rhododendrum, a relative of azaleas. We had one just like it in England.
The photo of the pink daisy like succulent is the same as what we have here. Sorry I don't know its name. The photo of the poppies are lovely, I just love poppies.
All I WOW what beautiful blooms. Happy Bloomin Tuesday.
