Other Artists Shine and Happy Cactus Monday

I thought I'd let you see some of the other art that shone at the show last night to let you see what good company I hang with. The painting on the left is acrylic; the one on the right believe it or not is watercolor! Amazing detail! Cristy's sculpture: Dancing Queen "Jolie-Laide". I got to know her a bit on the judging day. Tim I met the night of the show. He had two of these pieces, just delightful. This is called Before The Cloth, it really spoke to me. I met this artist, Alex 8 the night of the show. I really enjoyed talking to her. Her mixed media piece is called Black Hole to Now Here and I see now on the show guide that she is from out of town. This huge watercolor by Jeanie is called Hydrangea. It won Best of Show in that category. I'm sorry I cannot attach names to each picture I took, but all the artists deserve a big hand of applause. There were 197 pieces in this show. And thank you again for all who came to the show with me here yesterday and left your wonderful comments. You are my best supporters and I appreciate you each and every one so very much. And today is Cactus Monday and I have my cousin Judy to thank for this picture of a blooming cactus from her back yard. Isn't it beautiful? Thank you Judy. and Happy Cactus Monday to each and every one of you! Thanks for coming by.

I'm having a bit of withfrawl from closing my studio. I want to do big paintings but only have room enough to do small things. Hopefully when we move I'll get a studio set up.
