At noon yesterday I took a stroll for about an hour around town...
It was bright sunshine...all signs of past rains completely dried up...
flowers blooming everywhere....moms sunning with kids in the town square...
Orange trees laden down with fresh fruit...
and new buds bursting forth on trees...blue skies everywhere you looked...
cats sunning in windows...
daffodils springing up in many yards...
Camilla's too.
and then this ugly guy letting me know that beauty is really in the eye of the beholder!
Happy Almost Spring!
Your town looks wonderful. Love seeing all the color and life happening. Here we are still covered with snow. It is all black and white, so cold no one is out unless they have to be.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I must find myself some yellow poppies this year...
ReplyDeleteA lovely cheerful post, won't be long till Spring now ... my bulbs are shooting up!

ps. I'm having a giveaway on my blog ... ends on Valentine's Day!
I love seeing the buds bursting forth. We have daffodils, Crocus and soon the pink trees all over town will be in bloom. I saw our Thundercloud plum tree full of buds yesterday. Come on spring. :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see all the flowers in bloom...We are warm for this time of the year and I can see green here and there. But we know that at anytime it could freeze.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely, Hugs, Mary
I enjoyed this stroll with you!
ReplyDeletelast night we had dricing winds and blowing snow and sleet all night long.
Today the sun is shining and melting at all as fast as it arrived. That's hopeful!
Hey, how come its spring there already! I'm jealous. Love all those beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI am so envious. How I yearn for weather like that. We won't get that for a couple more months, sigh. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy your photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photography. Your town looks so lovely and warm. We still have snow, but not enough to fret over. Thanks for sharing a slice of your day.
ReplyDeleteLovely walk, full of hopes of spring...
