Sunflower Quilt Progress

Rolling along with this latest art project...sunflower quilt (no name yet)... I have sewn down photos on silk of sunflowers that I have taken myself; and ironed transfers of other photos directly onto the background fabrics. This one is silk. silk...
This is an ironed on transfer. I like the way it divided over the different fabrics
I've since done more (paint/words) and I will take those pictures today before
continuing on...
I'm excited to get to the top sewing.

Wishing you all an enjoyable Sunday!
How are you spending your time?

  1. I like the way your SF quilt is coming along. The colors are yummy. We have been out working on the BBA this morning. The rest of the day will be devoted to rest and staying out of the heat. Have a good one.

  5. Awesome start ! Love those colors.
Sunday was spent doing some have-to's with my hubby around the house. Because we did it together, the have-tos ended up being kind of fun. A bbq of bratwurst sausgaes and a big salad ended our day.
    Here's to a good week ! Cheers !
