I've been true to my promise to myself and have been drawing and/or painting every day. My goal is just to keep doing it and to hopefully see improvement over this year. I am ever so inspired by other artists whose blogs I visit. I love the Breakfast Art on video by Danny Gregory. (You can Google his name to find that). And Lisa Bowman's ,of Artsy Endeavors blog, paintings have helped me with shadows I think in this painting below. Kimmie of Artinredwagons on her blog has a series of wonderful watercolors she did from her car. It's really fun to look at other's work and try to emulate some of what they are doing or at least aspire to get to that level at some time in my life time. |
Her mommy and daddy sent us a video of her doing just that! We are all so proud of her.
The hat she is wearing was knit by her 13 yr old cousin, Taylor, who lives on a farm in NY.
What a little sweetie. Your drawing is good. I can't wait to see how your painting/drawing evolves too. Thanks for the shout out.

KJ, that nipple is a pacifier and it does look that big in the photo I drew from. I think it's the perspective!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your continual kudos for my efforts at drawing!

ReplyDeleteI love that painting of Allie Bel. What a cute child. I think it's very admirable of you to try and draw and paint every day. I am also trying to keep up with my blog again as my last post was in August! How hopeless am I? Life sometimes just gets in the way.
ReplyDeleteYour drawing skills are very good. It looks like you use the "drawing on the right side of the brain" techniques. I can see that you are drawing what you see and not what you think you see. Great job! And thanks for the kudos ... Right back at ya!
ReplyDeleteLoove your Drawing, it looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing....
