Jalisco's On Tuesday

A warm spring day, doors open, curtains pulled back...view across the street into the parking lot where I leave my car each morning coming to work...two young women talk over lunch. I'm sitting in the very back of the room, but it's as though my eye has a lens that lets me in close up on their conversation in the very front of the restaurant.

Drawn in ink on 90 lb paper (it doesn't really weigh 90 lbs)
And then painted later at home with watercolors.

  4. Hello Lynn! Thank you for showing your lovely sketch journal to us.
I love your beautiful render piece, cool observation.
In my opinion, the action of these two ladies come alive with the RED paint in the centre.
You are so good captured the mood of the conversation and the surrounding too!

This make me think how long I haven't been dining with my girl friends...
