On Wednesday I walked downtown to the Pure Grain Bakery, which is at our Town Square, and I heard music...
...that called to me...so I ordered my sandwich to go. I waited for it with these women...the gal on the left had the most incredible tan and a pink phone...She was sitting directly in front of me. The blond at the next table over had huge bangs! And her bra strap was showing! After I got my sandwich I took it and my cup of water with a slice of lemon outside. The metal benches were too hot to sit on...the heat burned my legs through my light linen pants...But I was able to find a table in the shade where I sat to eat and draw.
The musician had seven different instruments...I could recognize a clarinet, a trombone, 2 french horns, (one small, one larger); a flute, a saxaphone and one more I could not identify. I am not very knowledgeable about music but he played some Count Basie, and I think Jazz and Blues. It was very enjoyable.
This is my outdoors "artist studio" at home where I paint my pictures!
And my not so fancy set of watercolors that I use.
I'm running low on light flesh color.
It was a very delightful lunch time.
I passed the "floor guys" who where going to Jalisco's to eat.
I said "It's not my day to go there!"
They laughed.
;-)
Happy Paint Party Friday!

Robin, the pun was very much intended on my end! :-)) Glad you like the sketch!
DeleteThis is Wednesday not Friday..? Lots of fun drawings here. Cool to be entertained while you do Art. :)) Love the Bra strap showing..attention to detail. :))Can you get replacements for your paint pallet? or is it a throw away one?
ReplyDeleteMy Paint Party Friday drawings are from anytime during that week! LOL
DeleteI wonder if I can get replacements. The little circles of paint snap out of the case they are in. I'll have to look into that.
Love the sketches Lynn. The musician would have been a challenge for me, so much information to put in! As for the girl with the hair, I don't know how these girls can have it all over their faces these days...still, youth I guess:) Must ask, what would happen if you went to Jalisco's on the wrong day, would it throw them completely.lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann for loving my sketches! I think it would throw ME off...but I may have to do it once in a while if I want to draw the floor guys.
