Numbers 9 and 10 and 11 of Twenty Nine Faces PLUS...


I normally draw from life, but this past Sunday I decided to use a recent photograph of my cousin Barb and my husband taken at the visit in Stockton (when the car battery died, remember that story? I did have to replace the battery the next day!) 

There is such a difference between copying from a photo and drawing people on site as I've done in the painting below.


I already chose "pretty woman" as #7 and "Picasso woman" as #6 for the 29 faces in September Challenge. You can see my first 8 faces on this link.  I think I will make the woman in the pink pedal pushers above with glasses as #11.
